Albert Hotel – Project Recovery for Boutique Hospitality Development
CPM Texas was engaged by New Waterloo to provide Project Recovery Services for the Albert Hotel, a boutique hospitality development located in the heart of Fredericksburg, Texas. After experiencing delays and team misalignment during early construction, CPM stepped in to assess the situation, resolve issues, and guide the project back onto a successful path.
The hotel spans an entire downtown block and integrates adaptive reuse of historic structures with new construction. Once complete, the property will feature 110 guest rooms, multiple food and beverage concepts, event space, a full-service spa, and curated landscape and interior design elements that reflect both regional character and luxury hospitality.
As part of its recovery strategy, CPM helped transition to a new contractor, ultimately onboarding Joeris General Contractors to complete the project. CPM also coordinated a multidisciplinary design team that includes Clayton Korte (architect), New Waterloo and Melanie Raines (interior design), and Word + Carr Design Group (landscape architecture)—all aligned to deliver a singular, hospitality-driven destination in the Texas Hill Country.
