Ian McQuestion brings a wealth of experience in commercial construction, having started his career in the Northeast before relocating to Texas. Originally from Buffalo, NY, Ian earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from The Catholic University of America. His early roles included project engineering on significant developments like the University of Buffalo School of Medicine, Maple View Flats in Washington, DC, and West Side Shady Grove in Maryland.
At CPM Texas, Ian has led a range of projects including the RBJ Redevelopment, Kissing Tree Golf Clubhouse, Goodwin Apartments, Real Street Apartments, and St. George Apartments. He brings particular strength in managing infrastructure-related scopes, including franchise utilities and complex power delivery coordination—critical components in urban infill and multifamily projects.
Ian’s well-rounded background also includes construction claims support and infrastructure program management, giving him the versatility to solve problems across all phases of a project.
Outside of work, Ian enjoys cycling, golfing, attending live music, and rooting for his hometown Buffalo sports teams.
