Austin Marriott Downtown

The Austin Marriott Downtown is a 31-story, 613,000 SF full-service hotel that anchors the northeast corner of Cesar Chavez and San Jacinto in downtown Austin. Delivered in partnership with White Lodging and managed by DPR Construction, the project brought 613 rooms, over 60,000 SF of meeting and event space, and four food and beverage venues to the urban core.

The design includes a two-level bar and restaurant concept, a 7th-floor rooftop pool and bar, and high-performance conference areas with ballroom spaces and prefunction zones. The building incorporates concrete core-and-shell construction with glass curtainwall, structured parking, and a high-end hospitality interior package.

Christian Dowell, now with CPM Texas, played a leadership role in this complex downtown project while at DPR Construction, contributing deep experience in high-rise hospitality delivery, city coordination, and fast-paced vertical execution.
