Paramount and Stateside Theatres
Austin Theatre Alliance engaged CPM Texas to provide Project Management services for the restoration and renovation of the historic Paramount Theatre and State Theatre, located on Congress Avenue in downtown Austin. Together, the projects support the preservation and modernization of two of Austin’s most iconic performing arts venues while enhancing patron experience and operational performance.
The work includes historic restoration, ADA and life-safety improvements, new seating systems, upgraded restrooms, HVAC and building systems improvements, and audio visual, lighting, and rigging upgrades. At the State Theatre, the scope also includes major interior reconfiguration to increase flexibility and support a wider range of performances.
CPM Texas is guiding the projects through design coordination, budgeting, consultant and contractor alignment, and construction planning, balancing historic character with the technical demands of modern live performance venues.
