The Rebekah – RBJ Tower Renovation for Affordable Senior Living
CPM Texas was engaged by the Austin Geriatric Center to provide Project Management Services for Phase 2 of the RBJ Tower renovation, now known as The Rebekah. Located along the Lady Bird Lake corridor in East Austin, the existing 16-story tower is undergoing a full reconstruction, renovation, and interior fit-out to support its long-term use as affordable senior housing.
Originally constructed in the 1970s, the tower remains a critical component of the broader RBJ Center redevelopment. Phase 2 focused on transforming the building's core systems, layout, and residential units to meet current building codes and the evolving needs of an aging population.
CPM managed all aspects of the construction phase — including schedule oversight, contractor coordination, and consultant interface — on behalf of the nonprofit owner.
