UT System Administration Building
The University of Texas System Administration Building is a 19-story high-rise that consolidates all UT System departments into a single downtown Austin facility. Located on state-owned land along 7th Street, the project replaced a former building on the same site while maintaining proximity to UT Austin and the Texas State Capitol.
The 330,000 SF tower was delivered as a new construction project with a hard cost budget of $135 million and completed in 2018. The building now serves as the headquarters for all UT System operations, supporting both administrative and executive functions in a secure, modern, and centralized environment.
Christian Dowell, now a member of the CPM Texas team, played a key role in the delivery of this project while at DPR Construction. The project reflects deep experience in managing large-scale, complex civic and higher education buildings in urban contexts.
