iBio Biotherapeutics Facility – Texas A&M Research Valley Park

The iBio Biotherapeutics Facility (formerly Caliber Biotherapeutics) is a 128,000 SF vaccine production facility located within Texas A&M University’s Research Valley Park, adjacent to the Texas A&M Health Science Center Campus. Delivered through a design-build partnership led by The Beck Group, the facility supports the growth and processing of plant-based vaccines, along with lab, cleanroom, and administrative functions.

The project utilized precast concrete for both the exterior enclosure and interior structural systems, providing maximum planning flexibility for future process areas and equipment layouts. The building was also designed to accommodate a future 40,000 SF expansion with minimal impact to ongoing operations. Systems were tailored to meet rigorous cleanroom and maintenance protocols, supporting high-containment manufacturing in a university-adjacent research environment.

Andrew Stauch, now part of the CPM Texas team, played a key role in the project’s execution while at The Beck Group, contributing experience in managing complex, regulated process facilities with integrated design and construction delivery.
