Project Transitions - Burnet Place

CPM served as the Owner’s Project Manager for Burnet Place, a 61-unit supportive housing development in Austin, Texas, led by local nonprofit Project Transitions. The project is designed to provide permanent, compassionate housing for people living with HIV and represents a critical expansion of care-focused, affordable housing in Central Texas.

Located in the Brentwood neighborhood, Burnet Place includes studio and one-bedroom apartments, on-site supportive services, and shared gathering spaces that promote community, privacy, and dignity. The development also features outdoor courtyards, secure access, and energy-efficient systems in a modern, trauma-informed design.

CPM partnered with Project Transitions, Michael Hsu Office of Architecture, and Lott Brothers Construction to steward the project from predevelopment through construction. Burnet Place reflects CPM’s commitment to delivering housing solutions that support health equity, social impact, and long-term stability for vulnerable populations.
