Travis County North Campus Redevelopment

CPM served as the Owner’s Project Manager for the Travis County North Campus Redevelopment, a transformative mixed-use development located at 5325–5335 Airport Boulevard in Austin. This project exemplifies a successful public-private partnership, combining county office space, affordable housing, and community amenities to serve the growing needs of the area.

The development features:

  • An 88,000-square-foot Class A office building housing Travis County's Health and Human Services, Veterans Services, and Passport & Jury Services departments.

  • A five-level shared parking garage providing convenient access for both office employees and residents.

  • Travis Flats, a 146-unit residential building offering a mix of affordable and market-rate apartments, designed to support workforce housing needs.

CPM collaborated closely with Southwest Strategies Group, DMA Companies, Nelsen Partners (architect), Bommarito Group (interior design), and Bartlett Cocke (general contractor) to navigate the complexities of this multifaceted project. From initial planning through construction, CPM provided leadership in project management, ensuring the successful delivery of a development that balances public service, housing affordability, and community engagement.
